Bonaveri decided to begin work on a new collection they invited Emma Davidge to the cooperation. Bonaveri worked with Emma on previous tailor-made projects and so chose it was an easy decision to collaborate on the new collection.
Between them they had to look no further than the shelves of factory Bonaveri, where the original Schläppi figures and molds were waiting to be rediscovered.
Emma immediately recognized the original manner and began to extract the essential elements that lend a unique look of Schläppi collection. In cooperation with the Bonaveri sculptors created them miniature figures of aloof and created the Schläppi heritage into the clay.
The shapes and poses are an integral part of the aloof designs, inspired by the fashion pictures of Avedon and Beaton. Aloof is alive, by being able to replicate this large period of fashion history. We connect to aloof, we recognize this heritage and inspiring and unforgettable find their forms.
